Backdated entry - Morton's The Steakhouse

This is definitely our fave steak place so far. This entry represents at least the 4th time we're here. Let's see... We've done my birthday once, Lynn's birthday once, just for the heck of it once, and Lynn's graduation dinner. We're so gaga over their onion bread, thick juicy steaks and their crisp iceberg lettuce salad. And of course their impeccable service. This last time here, Lynn was hankering for lobster bisque so that was added to our order.

As we normally do, we reached very hungry. So we wolfed down more than half of the pretty big loaf of onion bread - with butter of course! Sat through the performance of introducing their menu by a server displaying different items from the menu trolley. Then came the creamy lobster bisque, which cured her week-long craving. The usual iceberg lettuce salad came next. Absolutely love their blue cheese dressing and the generous sprinkling of chopped bacon! I think this time round we got the Fillet Mignon - English cut as per usual for sharing. For side we ordered the Lyonnaise Potatoes, which is potato slices fried with onion and bacon fat. Very aromatic, but I prefer the sauteed mushrooms we got the previous time.

Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake
Since I mentioned that it was her graduation dinner during reservation, Morton's was sweet enough to take note of it, and treated us to dessert on the house. We were full by then (well, 2 girls, 1 loaf of bread, 1 bowl of soup each, 1 huge salad, 1 huge steak, potatoes... you get the idea), so we absolutely exploded after the dessert.

Morton's never fail to satisfy, both in terms of food quality, and service.
